Our CFC products are used in the solar and semiconductor industries, as loading racks for vacuum and industrial furnaces, CFC heating elements for thermal applications, plug-in grids for hardening ovens, carrier plates for CVD coating systems, as well as screws, nuts and bolts for furnace construction fastening. Components for Czochalski (CZ) single crystal pulling rods are also made from CFC.

HC-CFC-Series ®

HC-CFC-Series ®

The CFC products of our HC-CFC-Series® have laminar woven materials as well as fibre composite materials pressed from short fibres.
This grade of products stands out for the particularly high strength values with a low specific density of 1.60 to 1.70 g/cm³. Furthermore, the products have very good chemical resistance, low thermal expansion and low thermal conductivity. Compared to ceramic products, our CFC grades have very good temperature and thermal shock resistance.

HC-CFC racks

HC-CFC racks

Racks made of carbon fibre composite materials primarily stand out for their lightweight design and associated higher furnace capacity with the same total mass. If they are used in automated processes or will be in the future, the barely measurable distortion of the material becomes a factor. This ensures that all robots and machines involved in the process can access the batch carriers with pinpoint accuracy.
